How do I create a list?

Anyone with an account can create lists. You become an owner of every list you create.

The steps

Tap + New list in the top bar, or in the tab bar on a phone. The wizard shows only the steps your choices need, so the count changes as you go.

1. Method: create manually, import a JSON file, or let AI generate the items.
2. Basics: the name (required), a category, an optional description, and an optional Decide by date.
3. Rating: ranking or point scale.
4. Dimensions: only for a point scale. Score one thing per item, or several with weights.
5. Items: add at least two.
6. Crew: add owners and participants, and turn the sharing switches on if you want them.
7. Review: check each step, use Edit to go back, then Create list.

On a phone the wizard fills the screen and shows "Step n of m".

Good to know

• The Decide by date is a reminder for the group. It does not stop anyone from voting.
• Owners can change everything later with Edit list in the ⋯ menu. After the first vote, the way of voting stays fixed.
• Next stays grey until a step is complete. Point at it to see what is missing.
