How do I invite a group with a link?

Share one list invitation in your group chat. Each person joins with their own TopX account.

List owners and admins can open Invitation links from a list's ⋯ actions.

  1. Choose Participant (the default) or Owner. Only a current owner can create an Owner link.
  2. Choose how long it works: 1 day, 3 days, 1 week (the default), 2 weeks or 30 days.
  3. Select Create link, then Copy.
  4. Paste the link into WhatsApp, Telegram or any other chat.

Anyone with the link can accept it. No email address is needed to create it. A Participant link lets people vote; an Owner link lets them change the list, items and memberships. Share Owner links only with people who should manage the list.

You can create several links for the same list, each with its own role and expiry. A reusable link reserves no places; the list's member limit is checked when someone joins.

The invitation shows the list and the role you get. Sign in or create a TopX account, then select Accept invitation. You join immediately and open the list's voting page.

Existing members keep their current role. An Owner link adds new owners only while its creator is still an owner; otherwise new people join as participants, as with email invitations.

In Invitation links, select Revoke next to that link and confirm. It stops accepting new people immediately. People who already joined keep their membership and role.

Expired, revoked and unavailable links stay in the list so you can see their status. The role shown is the role new people currently receive. Create a new link to invite more people. Deleted lists and links created by deleted accounts cannot accept new people.
