How do I make my first list?

A list takes a few minutes. You make it in a short guided form, the list wizard.

Make the list

1. Tap + New list in the top bar (on a phone, in the bar at the bottom).
2. Choose how to start: Create manually, Import JSON or AI generate. For a first list, manual is the simplest.
3. On Basics, give the list a name and pick a category. A description and a "Decide by" date are optional.
4. On Rating, choose Traditional ranking or Point scale.
5. On Items, add at least two items. Tap Next once you have them.
6. On Crew, add the people who vote with you. You are an owner of the list already.
7. On Review, check everything and tap Create list.

The Next button stays grey until a step is complete. Point the cursor at it to see what is missing.

After you create it

The list appears under Lists. Open it and place your own items first: your ballot is the fastest way to see how TopX works. Everyone you added can now vote, and the group result updates with every ballot.
