How do I score items with points and dimensions?

Tap Score items, give each item points, and score each dimension if the list has several.

On a point-scale list you give every item a score instead of putting it in order.

Give your scores

  1. Open the list and tap Score items.
  2. Tap a score for the item. The scale depends on the list: 3, 5, 10, 20 or 100 points. On 20 and 100 points you use a slider with − and + buttons.
  3. Move on with Next, Previous or Next unscored. On the smaller scales, TopX moves on by itself after the last open score of an item.
  4. Tap Done when you finish.

You can also tap a score in the table to change just that one. Clear removes a score. A score of 0 is a score like any other, only a cleared score counts as not scored.

Dimensions

Some lists score several dimensions, for example aroma, taste and finish. You score each dimension of an item. Each dimension has a weight, so taste at 40 percent counts for more than finish at 30 percent. TopX combines your dimension scores into one score for the item, using the dimensions you scored.

To see the dimensions in the table, tap Show dimensions.

The group score

The table shows a Group score for every item, the average of everyone's scores, and the top three on a podium. It changes as people score.
