How do I see a picture larger?
Tap a picture to see it whole, with its name, alt text and credit, and step through the items with pictures.
Pictures in a list are small. Tap one to see it whole.
Open the larger view
Tap a picture in any of these places:
- the list image at the top of the list page;
- a ticket on the Ladder (tickets show pictures on wider screens);
- a row of the Scoreboard;
- the podium of The group says;
- the item details.
Only real pictures open the larger view. The drawings TopX shows when there is no picture do not.
What you see
The picture fills as much of the screen as it can, never cut off. Below it you see the item's name, the alt text if the owner added one, the credit if the picture came from a link or a search, and where you are, for example "3 of 8".
Previous and next
For an item, the larger view steps through every item of the list that has a picture. Use the Previous image and Next image buttons, the left and right arrow keys, or swipe on a touch screen.
The order is always the list's own order, never the ranking. So the larger view gives away nothing about how anyone voted.
Close it
Press Escape, tap Close, or click beside the picture.
