Who sees my ballot?

The list's owners always see every ballot; everyone else only when an owner turns on "Show everyone's ballots".

Every list decides for itself how open its ballots are. An owner sets it with the switch Show everyone's ballots, when they create the list or later from Sharing.

Show everyone's ballots Off = blind voting. Everyone sees just their own ballot and the group result.
Live updates, history and notifications Off = updates on reload, no history, no Telegram pings.
The sharing switches of a list, as its owners see them.

When the switch is off

This is how every new list starts. Each member sees:

  • their own ballot;
  • the group result;
  • how far everyone has got, as a count ("3 of 5 done"), never what they chose.

The group result still counts every ballot. Nobody can tell from it who put what where.

When the switch is on

Every member can open everyone's ballot. On a ranking list you pick a member with Whose ballot? on the Ladder, and the Scoreboard has a column for each member. On a point-scale list the page shows everyone's scores.
