How do I see how the result changed?

With live updates on, the History bar on a ranking list lets you step back through the latest changes and see the list as it was.

History shows how a list looked after each change, so you can see how the group result moved.

Open the history

  1. Open the ranking page of a list.
  2. Select History at the top of the page. If there is no History button, the list has live updates off.
  3. Step back and forward with the arrows, or select a person's picture on the bar.

The bar shows the latest 20 changes. Each change shows who made it, when, and what moved: the ballot and the group result.

What you can and cannot do

  • A past state is read-only. You cannot change a ballot while you look at the past.
  • Select Back to now to return to the current state.
  • You see the ballots you are allowed to see. If the list does not show everyone's ballots, you see your own ballot and the group result at each step.
  • Changes by an owner on behalf of a member show up as well, with the owner's name.
  • Point-scale lists have no History bar on their rating page.

If History is missing

An owner can turn on Live updates, history and notifications in the list's sharing settings. Changes made while it was off are still recorded, so turning it on later makes the earlier steps visible too.
